Project Spotlight: Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum

We are excited to share a glimpse into one of our current projects under our National Archives IDIQ—this particular task order taking place at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

As part of our ongoing partnership with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), TJS Group is executing essential facilities upgrades and improvements that help preserve both the facility and the history it holds.

This project not only reinforces President Ford’s enduring legacy—it also enhances the overall functionality and safety of The Gerald Ford Library and Museum by reconstructing a desolate, 100 ft fountain into an expansive garden and green space. In a special nod to Betty Ford’s love of gardening, the design thoughtfully incorporates landscape elements that reflect her passion for nature and beauty.

From modernizing critical systems to creating spaces that honor our nation's story, our team approaches each task with care, precision, and purpose.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to deliver excellence across the country through our IDIQ work with NARA.

TJS Group Awarded Administration Support Contract with the Department of Defense

TJS Group is excited to share the award of a new contract in partnership with Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S). This award marks another milestone in our continued growth as a growing small business in federal contracting, strategic program management, and acquisition oversight.

Through this support, TJS Group and Salmon JV, will provide comprehensive management, oversight, and analytic support to the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) sponsored by the Department of Defense. Our work will focus on supporting the RAND National Defense Research Institute (NDRI) and the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) Studies and Analyses Center (SAC), two of the most influential FFRDCs guiding defense research and strategic initiatives.

As part of the scope, TJS Group will lead the coordination of annual work programs, provide financial oversight related to the allocation of Staff-Years of Technical Effort (STE), and manage reporting obligations and contract modifications. We will also support the administration of interagency agreements, track and maintain data in government-managed SharePoint systems, and coordinate directly with senior leadership at OUSD(A&S), WHS, and other key stakeholders.

TJS Group’s involvement includes a critical advisory role—ensuring the validity and strategic alignment of research tasks submitted for FFRDC execution. Our team will provide justifications for contract actions, conduct technical reviews, and assist in planning and supporting advisory board meetings. We will also maintain a high level of communication and transparency with all stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of reports and strategic recommendations.

This contract underscores our commitment to excellence in federal services, combining deep subject matter expertise with agile contract management capabilities. It also highlights our continued success in supporting complex, high-impact government programs that require both operational discipline and strategic insight.

As we move forward in this work, we remain dedicated to upholding the standards of integrity, performance, and innovation that have defined our reputation across government agencies nationwide.
